Real gearheads who've been wrenching on performance builds since before tuning was cool
Look, we didn't start this place to be just another repair shop. Thunder Shard Realm was born outta pure obsession with making engines sing. Started in a small garage back in 2018, just me and my buddy Mike tuning Subarus on weekends while working day jobs.
Fast forward to now - we've got a proper facility on Dundas West and a crew that actually knows the difference between a map sensor and a MAF. No shade to the general mechanics out there, but when someone rolls in with a built motor or wants serious power gains, they need folks who live and breathe this stuff.
We've seen it all - from weekend warriors wanting an extra 50hp to track monsters pushing 800+ at the wheels. Every car that leaves here has our reputation riding on it, and that's not something we take lightly.
Head Tuner & Owner
Been turning wrenches for 16 years now. Cut my teeth on Honda B-series swaps, then got deep into the Euro scene before falling hard for domestic muscle. These days I'm mostly on the dyno or elbow-deep in ECU software. If it's got an engine, I've probably tuned one.
Specialty: Custom ECU calibration, forced induction setups
Senior Performance Technician
Don't let anyone tell you this is a boys' club - I've been outbuilding dudes since trade school. Started with Mitsubishi EVOs, got obsessed with boost control and AFR tuning. Now I handle most of our turbo installs and can diagnose electrical gremlins faster than anyone I know.
Specialty: Turbocharger systems, electrical diagnostics
Fabrication & Exhaust Specialist
If it needs welding, bending, or custom fab work, that's my jam. Came up through the off-road racing world where nothing's ever bolt-on and everything's gotta be built tough. My exhaust work is stupid clean - full TIG on stainless, mandrel bends only, none of that crushed pipe nonsense.
Specialty: Custom exhaust fabrication, turbo manifolds, roll cages
Suspension & Chassis Specialist
I race on weekends, wrench during the week. That track experience means I actually understand what proper suspension setup feels like, not just throwing coilovers on and calling it good. Corner balancing, alignment specs for different driving styles, brake upgrades that actually work together - that's what I'm about.
Specialty: Suspension tuning, brake systems, track prep

We're not your typical shop, and that's kinda the point
Got our own Dynojet right in-house. We don't guess - every tune gets proven on the rollers with real-time AFR monitoring and knock detection. You'll see the sheets before and after.
Your car, your goals, your budget. We don't push parts you don't need or promise dyno numbers that'll blow your motor. Honest assessments, custom solutions.
We actually race the stuff we build. That weekend warrior experience feeds directly into how we set up customer cars. Theory's cool, but the track don't lie.
Let's talk about what you're building and how we can help make it happen
